ความรู้และทัศนคติต่อการป้องกันโรคติดต่อทางเพศสัมพันธ์ในกลุ่มรักเพศเดียวกันของนักศึกษาสายวิทยาศาสตร์สุขภาพ มหาวิทยาลัยหัวเฉียวเฉลิมพระเกียรติ

Abstract

การศึกษาวิจัยนี้ เป็นงานวิจัยเชิงสำรวจ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความรู้ในการป้องกันโรคติดต่อทางเพศสัมพันธ์และความรู้เรื่องโรคติดต่อทางเพศสัมพันธ์ในเพศเดียวกัน และทัศนคติต่อการป้องกันโรคติดต่อทางเพศสัมพันธ์ในกลุ่มรักเพศเดียวกันของนักศึกษาสายวิทยาศาสตร์สุขภาพ จำนวน 549 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการรวบรวมข้อมูล คือ แบบสอบถาม จากผลการศึกษาวิจัยพบว่า นักศึกษาส่วนใหญ่ซึ่งคิดเป็นร้อยละ 80.1 เป็นเพศหญิง โดยกลุ่มตัวอย่างร้อยละ 47.9 มีความรู้การป้องกันโรคติดต่อทางเพศสัมพันธ์ในเพศเดียวกันอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง และกลุ่มตัวอย่างร้อยละ 86.2 มีความรู้เรื่อง โรคติดต่อทางเพศสัมพันธ์ในกลุ่มรักเพศเดียวกันอยู่ในระดับมาก โดยนักศึกษาคณะเทคนิคการแพทย์มีคะแนนเฉลี่ยรวมสูงสุด รองลงมาคือ คณะเภสัชศาสตร์ คณะการแพทย์แผนจีน คณะพยาบาลศาสตร์ คณะสาธารณสุขศาสตร์ และคณะกายภาพบำบัด ตามลำดับ ในด้านของทัศนคติเรื่องการป้องกันโรคติดต่อทางเพศสัมพันธ์ในเพศเดียวกัน พบว่า ส่วนใหญ่มีทัศนคติไปในเชิงบวก เช่น การมีเพศสัมพันธ์ในเพศเดียวกันควรใช้ถุงยางอนามัยทุกครั้ง การมีเพศสัมพันธ์ในเพศเดียวกันก็เสี่ยงติดเชื้อโรคติตด่อทางเพศได้ ถ้าไม่ใช้ถุงยางอนามัย ซึ่งจากผลข้างต้นชี้ให้เห็นว่านักศึกษาส่วนใหญ่มีความรู้ในการป้องกัน โรคติตด่อทางเพศสัมพันธ์ในเพศเดียวกันในระดับปานกลาง ดังนั้นจึงควรมีการให้ความรู้การป้องกันโรคติดต่อทางเพศสัมพันธ์ในกลุ่มรักเพศเดียวกันแก่นักศึกษาเพิ่มเติม

This study is a survey research aims to study the knowledge to prevent sexually transmitted diseases and knowledge about sexually transmitted infection in homosexual and attitudes toward preventing sexually transmitted infection in homosexual of health sciences students at Huachiew Chalermprakiet University Students of Science. The sample consisted of 549 students of the health sciences. The instrument used for data collection was a questionnaire. The study showed that 80.1 percent of the students are female. The knowledge of how to prevent sexually transmitted infection in homosexual shown 47.9 percent that knowledge is moderate. Knowledge about sexually transmitted infection in homosexual shown that 86.2 percent have the knowledge at a high level. The student of Faculty of Medical Technology has the highest overall average score, followed by the student of Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Chinese Medicine, Faculty of Health Sciences and Faculty of Physical Therapy. The attitudes about preventing sexually transmitted infection among homosexuals found that most students have a positive attitude towards the prevention of sexually transmitted diseases among homosexuals. For example, the coupling of the same sex should use condoms every time, the homosexual have risk of sexually transmitted infections, if not use condoms. The results of this study suggest that the most students have moderate knowledge or should know more in the prevention of sexually transmitted diseases among homosexuals.
