การวิเคราะห์ตัวละครหญิงชาวจีนในนวนิยายไทย

Abstract

งานวิจัย เรื่อง การวิเคราะห์ตัวละครหญิงชาวจีนในนวนิยายไทย มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์ลักษณะและสถานภาพของตัวละครหญิงชาวจีนในนวนิยายไทย และวิเคราะห์บทบาทและคุณค่าของตัวละครหญิงชาวจีนในนวนิยายไทย ขอบเขตของการวิจัย คือ วิเคราะห์นวนิยาย ดงดอกเหมย ของ นันทนา วีระชน บัวแล้งน้ำ ของ โบตั๋น หงส์เหนือมังกร ของ วิศวนาถ เลดี้เยาวราช ของ ทิพเกสร จัดพิมพ์ โบตั๋นกลีบสุดท้าย ของกานติมา โดยมีสมมุติฐานการวิจัย คือ ตัวละครหญิงชาวจีนที่ปรากฏในนวนิยาย เป็นตัวละครที่ทำให้ผู้อ่านเข้าใจว่าผู้หญิงอยากมีฐานะของตนเอง อยากเปลี่ยนสถานภาพของตน และแสดงบทบาทและคุณค่าต่อสังคมยิ่งกว่าเดิม ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ด้านลักษณะตัวละครหญิงชาวจีนในนวนิยายไทยคล้ายกับผู้หญิงจีนในสังคมจีน คือ เป็นเพศอ่อนแอ เชื่อฟังผู้ใหญ่และสามี เป็นคนเรียบร้อยและเข้าใจคนอื่น มีความกตัญญูและเป็นคนที่มีความรับผิดชอบต่อประเพณี พูดไพเราะ มีเมตตาและใจดี มีนิสัยดี เพราะได้สืบทอด ความประพฤติที่ดีจากบรรพบุรุษ ส่วนคนที่มีนิสัยขัดแย้งกับครอบครัวนั้น เนื่องจากได้รับอิทธิพลจากปัญหาทางด้านครอบครัว สังคมและการศึกษาของตนเอง ด้านสถานภาพในชีวิตของผู้หญิงมักมีฐานะคือ เป็นลูกสาว เป็นภรรยา เป็นย่าหรือยาย และเพื่อน ดังนั้น สถานภาพของผู้หญิงจึงมี 3 ด้าน คือ ด้านครอบครัว ด้านประกอบอาชีพ และด้านสังคม ตัวละครส่วนใหญ่ประพฤติตัวดีเนื่องจากการสั่งสอนของคนจีน คือ ในฐานะเป็นผู้หญิงต้องทำตัวให้เรียบร้อย ดูแลครอบครัวยให้ดี สามารถประกอบอาชีพได้หลายอย่าง จึงมีโอกาสทำงานแบบอื่นได้นอกจากงานแม่บ้าน เนื่องจากการยืนหยัดและความขยันหมั่นเพียรของตน จึงทำให้ผู้หญิงเริ่มมีฐานะในสังคม ด้านบทบาทและคุณค่า ผู้หญิงชาวจีนในนวนิยายไทย มีบทบาทสำคัญต่อครอบครัวมาก นิสัยของผู้หญิง คือ เป็นเพศถี่ถ้วนละเอียดรอบคอบ รู้จักเอาใจผู้ใหญ่มากกว่าผู้ชายซึ่งเป็นผู้ที่หาเงินให้แก่ครอบครัว แต่มีผู้หญิงชาวจีนช่วยดูแลค่าใช้จ่าย ช่วยสะสมเงินทอง ผู้ชายก็อาจร่ำรวยได้ เมื่อผู้หญิงมีสิทธิได้เรียนหนังสือทำให้ผู้หญิงมีความรู้ พวกเธอก็เริ่มให้ตัวเองเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมของสังคม โดยการมีอาชีพของตน จึงทำให้ฐานะของผู้หญิงได้เปลี่ยนแปลง ในสังคมจริงเรื่องแบบนี้ได้เกิดขึ้นแล้ว จึงทำให้สังคมได้ให้โอกาสผู้หญิงด้านการศึกษา และมีอาชีพเท่าเทียมกับผู้ชาย ผู้หญิงที่ประกอบอาชีพที่เท่าเทียมกับผู้ชาย ก็สามารถประสบความสำเร็จในหน้าที่การงานได้ ตัวละครหญิงชาวจีนที่ปรากฏในนวนิยายไทย นอกจากทำให้นวนิยายสมบูรณ์ขึ้นและมีสีสันแล้ว ยังมีหน้าที่ทำให้สังคมรู้จักความคิดและบทบาทของผู้หญิงชาวไทยเชื้อสายจีนเป็นการเรียกร้องสังคมให้ยอมรับเพศหญิง โดยสะท้อนบทบาทและสถานภาพของผู้หญิงชาวไทยเชื้อสายจีนที่อยู่ในประเทศไทย

The purpose of this research is to analyze characteristics and status of Chinese actresses in Thai fiction and to contemplate on the roles and values of Chinese actresses in Thai fiction. Scopes of analysis focused on 5 Thai fictions, Dong Dok Mueay by Nuntana Verachon, Bua Lang Num by Botan, Hong Nven Mang Korn (Phoenix over Dragon) by Wisawanart, Lady Yaowarach by Tip-Gaysorn and Bo Tan Gled Sud Thai by Kandima. The hypothesis of the study is about Chinese actresses appearing in those five fictions who try to get wealth and change their status, roles and social values. The result of this analysis finds that the characteristics of Chinese actresses are similar to Chinese women who are delicate, obey their husbands and elders. They are polite, sympathetic, grateful, and responsible to their customs. They speak sweetly and are kind-hearted. They plat various roles as daughter, wife, grandmother and friend. The ones who are nice receive good behaviors from their ancestors. But the ones who have behaviors that contradict their families receive family, social and educational problems. The three aspects of women's status which are family aspect, occupational and social. Most actresses in the fictions are very nice persons because they are cultures to perform neatly and to take care of their families well. They can earn a living in various kinds of jobs so they get an opportunity to work out of home besides housework. Through their perseverance and deligence, they can get rise in the world. The result of this analysis also finds that Chinese actresses play vital roles in families. Women's characters are thoroughly and carefully. They are concerned the elder than men. In fact men earn for the families. But if Chinese women don't care of expenses, the men might not by wealth. When women have the opportunity to get education, it makes wome began to have knowledge. They began to participate in social activities. So they have their careers. Thus making the social status of women has improved and changed. In social reality, this situation happens most of the time. The society applies educational opportunities for women which equals with men. When the women participate in other jobs, they can also be successful. The Chinese actresses in Thai fiction do not only make the novel look lively, but also reveal the thoughts and roles of women. Moreover they indicate the roles and status of women in Thailand and reflect Thai society through the Chinese actresses.
