การวิจัย เรื่อง ภาพสะท้อนคนไทยเชื้อสายจีนในนวนิยายชุดมาเฟียเลือดมังกร ใช้การวิจัยเชิงวิเคราะห์เอกสาร มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์ภาพสะท้อนคนไทยเชื้อสายจีนจากนวนิยายชุดมาเฟียเลือดมังกร จำนวน 5 เรื่อง ได้แก่ สิงห์ กระทิง แรด และหงส์
ผลการวิจัยพบว่า นวนิยายชุดมาเฟียเลือดมังกร ทั้ง 5 เรื่อง ได้สะท้อนให้เห็นสภาพวิถีชีวิต และความเป็นอยู่ของคนไทยเชื้อสายจีนย่านเยาวราช รวม 5 ประเด็นหลัก คือ 1) สภาพชีวิตความเป็นอยู่ของคนไทยเชื้อสายจีน โดยทั่วไป เช่น ลักษณะที่อยู่อาศัย การแต่งกาย การประกอบอาชีพ 2) ลักษณะนิสัยของคนไทยเชื้อสายจีน ซึ่งเป็นลักษณะนิสัยที่ช่วยให้คนกลุ่มนี้ประสบความสำเร็จในชีวิต 3) บทบาทและพฤติกรรมของแก๊งมาเฟียในย่านเยาวราช ทั้งบทบาทของผู้เป็นหัวหน้าและบทบาทของผู้เป็นลูกน้อง 4) ความสัมพันธ์และปัญหาในรูปแบบต่าง ๆ ระหว่างสมาชิกในสังคมของคนไทยเชื้อสายจีน 5) ค่านิยมและความเชื่อในเรื่องต่าง ๆ การสืบทอดวัฒนธรรม ประเพณี และพิธีกรรมของจีน และการผสมผสานวัฒนธรรมจีนกับไทย
The analytical research paper aimed to analyze the reflections of Thai-Chinese descendant from novel series ‘Mafia Luerd Mungkorn’. The limitation of the research was on the 5 individuals of the Mafis Luerd Mungkorn novel series; Suer, Singh, Krating, Raed, and Hong.
The results showed that: 1) reflecting Thai-Chinese’s life in general such as their distinctive housing, clothing 2) reflecting the Thai-Chinese characteristics which could help people succeed in their lives 3) reflecting the role of the mafia gangs in Chinatown both the chief and the followers 4) reflecting relationships and different problems between members of the Thai-Chinese in the society, and 5) reflecting values and beliefs, the Chinese cultural and traditional heritage, mixing with Thai culture and transferring of Chinese traditions to the descendant.
