สัญญะวัฒนธรรมกับการนำเสนอภาพแทนผู้หญิงจีนในนวนิยายรักแนวจีนโบราณที่ประพันธ์โดยนักเขียนไทย

Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์สัญญะวัฒนธรรมและการนำเสนอภาพแทนผู้หญิงจีนในนวนิยายรักแนวจีนโบราณที่ประพันธ์โดยนักเขียนไทย โดยศึกษาวิเคราะห์นวนิยายรักแนวจีนโบราณจากเว็บไซต์ Meb จำนวน 11 เรื่อง 12 เล่ม และวิเคราะห์สัญญะที่สัมพันธ์กับตัวละครเอกหญิงเป็นตัวแทน เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพโดยพิจารณาด้านเนื้อหาของเรื่องและนำเสนอผลการวิจัยแบบพรรณนาวิเคราะห์ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ในนวนิยายรักแนวจีนโบราณที่ศึกษาได้ปรากฏสัญญะวัฒนธรรมมีทั้งหมด 4 หมวด ได้แก่ 1) สัญญะวัฒนธรรมหมวดวัตถุธรรมชาติ ทำให้เห็นภาพแทนความสวยงาม ความเข้มแข็ง ความเด็ดเดี่ยว ความบริสุทธิ์ และความเจ้าเล่ห์ของผู้หญิงจีน 2) สัญญะวัฒนธรรมหมวดวัตถุที่มนุษย์สร้าง สื่อให้เห็นภาพแทนความสวยงาม มีฐานะสูง ไม่มีอิสระ และอ่อนแอของผู้หญิงจีน หมวดสถานที่ สื่อให้เห็นถึงภาพแทนผู้หญิงจีนเป็นคนที่มีชาติกำเนิดสูง แต่เป็นคนถูกกดขี่ อยู่ใต้กฎระเบียบและอำนาจ มีความศรัทธาในเทพเจ้าและยังสื่อให้เห็นถึงสติปัญญา ความเป็นตัวของตัวเองของผู้หญิงจีน 3) สัญญะวัฒนธรรมหมวดพฤติกรรมทางสังคมสื่อให้เห็นถึงผู้หญิงจีนมีความกล้าหาญ เป็นตัวของตัวเอง มีความเมตตา มีการแบ่งชนชั้น และอยู่ใต้อำนาจของผู้ชาย และ 4) สัญญะวัฒนธรรมหมวดความเชื่อ เป็นสัญญะที่สื่อถึงภาพแทนผู้หญิงจีนมีความศรัทธาเพื่อทำให้จิตใจสงบสุข ผลงานวิจัยนี้สะท้อนให้เห็นความเข้าใจทางวัฒนธรรมของนักเขียนชาวไทยที่มีต่อวัฒนธรรมจีนมีความถูกต้อง ทำให้นวนิยายรักแนวจีนโบราณมีความสมจริง และมีคุณค่ายิ่งขึ้น

This research aims to analyze the cultural signifiers and the representation of Chinese women in traditional Chinese romance novels written by Thai authors by studying 11 titles and 12 volumes of traditional Chinese romance novels from the MEB website. This research is qualitative, analyzing the text and reporting the findings through descriptive analysis. The study found four areas of the cultural signs in the studied traditional Chinese romance novels. First are the cultural signifiers in the category of nature, such as the apricot, cherry, lotus, swan, Mei Flower, and snow, which represent beauty, resilience, uniqueness, and purity of Chinese women. Second are the cultural signifiers in the category of objects, such as jade ornament sand hairpins, which symbolize the beauty and status of Chinese women, while the veil represents their oppression and lack of freedom. Moreover, dwellings like mansions and palaces and the innermost part of the dwellings reflect Chinese women as having a high social origin but being oppressed, bound by rules and power. Vehicles like palanquins and horse-drawn carriages symbolize the status and wealth of Chinese women. However, these vehicles also indicate that women are confined to specific spaces and oppressed by societal norms, lacking autonomy. Third are the cultural signifiers in the category of social behavior, such as divorce, setting up a charitable kitchen, the practice of serving tea, or being flogged symbolize that Chinese women possess courage, independence, compassion, experience social stratification, and are under male dominance, often being the victims of male actions. Finally, the fourth kind of cultural signifiers are those in the category of belief, such as the deity of fate which symbolizes there presentation of Chinese women who have faith in order to bring peace to their hearts. This study demonstrates that Thai writers have an accurate understanding of Chinese culture.
