This paper conducts an in-depth exploration of the application of ancient Chinese architectural art in international Chinese language teaching from the vantage point of cultural semiotics, with The Imperial Palace serving as a paradigmatic case study. The analysis, from a unique cultural semiotic perspective, dissects The Imperial Palace not only as a material cultural heritage and architectural jewel that captivates global attention but also as a symbol brimming with historical memory and cultural information. Consequently, The Imperial Palace plays a crucial role in the enduring heritage and international dissemination of Chinese culture.
