ตัวละครหญิงชาวจีนในนวนิยายไทย

Abstract

งานวิจัย เรื่อง การวิเคราะห์ตัวละครหญิงชาวจีนในนวนิยายไทย มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อวิเคราะห์ลักษณะและสถานภาพของตัวละครหญิงชาวจีนในนวนิยายไทย และวิเคราะห์บทบาทและคุณค่าของตัวละครหญิงชาวจีนในนวนิยายไทย ขอบเขตของการวิจัย คือ ศึกษานวนิยาย เรื่องดงดอกเหมย ของ นันทนา วีระชน และเรื่องก่อนสายหมอกเลือน ของโบตั๋น โดยมีสมมุติฐานการศึกษา คือ ตัวละครหญิงชาวจีนที่ปรากฏในนวนิยาย เรื่อง ดงดอกเหมย และเรื่อง ก่อนสายหมอกเลือน เป็นตัวละครที่ทำให้ผู้อ่านเข้าใจว่าผู้หญิงอยากมีฐานะของตนเอง อยากเปลี่ยนสถานภาพของตน และแสดงบทบาทและคุณค่าต่อสังคมยิ่งกว่าเดิม ผลการวิเคราะห์พบว่าด้านลักษณะ ตัวละครหญิงชาวจีนคล้ายกับคนผู้หญิงจีน คือ เป็นเพศอ่อนแอ เชื่อฟังผู้ใหญ่และสามี เป็นคนเรียบร้อยและเข้าใจคนอื่น มีความกตัญญูและเป็นคนที่มีความรับผิดชอบต่อประเพณี พูดไพเราะ มีเมตตาและใจดี และพูดจาพูดตามฐานะ คนที่มีนิสัยดีเพราะได้สืบความประพฤติที่ดีจากบรรพบุรุษ ส่วนคนที่มีนิสัยขัดแย้งกับครอบครัวนั้น เนื่องจากได้รับอิทธิพลจากปัญหาทางด้านครอบครัว สังคมและการศึกษาของตนเอง ด้านสถานภาพของผู้หญิง มักมีฐานะคือ เป็นลูกสาว เป็นภรรยา เป็นย่าหรือยาย และเพื่อน ดังนั้น สถานภาพของผู้หญิงจึงมี 3 ด้าน คือ ด้านครอบครัว ด้านประกอบอาชีพ และด้านสังคม ตัวละครส่วนใหญ่ประพฤติตัวดีมาก เนื่องจากการสั่งสอนของคนจีน คือ ในฐานะเป็นผู้หญิง ต้องทำตัวให้เรียบร้อย ดูแลครอบครัวให้ดี ประกอบอาชีพได้หลายอย่าง จึงมีโอกาสทำงานแบบอื่นที่นอกจากงานแม่บ้าน เนื่องจากการยืนหยัดและความขยันหมั่นเพียรของตน จึงทำให้ผู้หญิงเริ่มมีฐานะในสังคม ตัวละครหญิงชาวจีนที่ปรากฏในนวนิยายไทย นอกจากทำให้นวนิยายสมบูรณ์ขึ้นและมีสีสันแล้ว ยังมีหน้าที่ทำให้สังคมรู้จักความคิด และบทบาทของผู้หญิง เรียกร้องสังคมมาเคารพผู้หญิงกัน ให้เห็นถึงบทบาทและสถานภาพของผู้หญิงที่อยู่ในประเทศไทย ยังสะท้อนให้เห็นถึงสังคมไทยผ่านตัวละครหญิงชาวจีน

The purpose of this research is to analyze characteristics and status of Chinese actresses in Thai fiction and to contemplate on the roles and values of Chinese actresses in Thai fiction. Scopes of analysis focused on 2 Thai fictions, Dong Dok Mueay by Nuntana Verachon, Kon Sai Mok Leurn by Bo Tan. The hypothesis of the study is about Chinese actresses appearing in those two fictions who try to get wealth and change their status, roles and social values. The result of this analysis finds that the characteristics of Chinese actresses are similar to Chinese women who are delicate, obey their husbands and elders. They are polite, sympathetic, grateful, and responsible to their customs. They speak sweetly and are kind-hearted. The ones who are nice receive good behaviors from their ancestors. But the ones who have behaviors that contradicting their families receive the influences from their family problems, social problems and educational problems. For women's status, they play various roles as daughter, wife grandmother and friend. So there are three aspects of women’s status which are family aspects, occupational aspect and social aspect. Most actresses in the fictions are very nice persons because they are cultured to perform neatly and to take care of their families well. They can earn a living in various kinds of jobs so they get an opportunity to work out of home besides housework. Through their perseverance and diligence, they can get rice in the world. The Chinese actresses in Thai fiction do not only make the novel look lively but also reveal the thoughts and roles of women. Moreover they indicate the roles and status of women in Thailand and reflect Thai society through the Chinese actresses.
