ตะกั่วและแคดเมียมในแหล่งน้ำธรรมชาติ ในอำเภอบางพลี จังหวัดสมุทรปราการ

Abstract

ปัจจุบันตะกั่วและแคดเมียมเป็นโลหะหนักที่ถูกนำมาใช้ในอุตสาหกรรมหลายประเกท กากของเสียที่มีตะกั่วและแคดเมียมปนเปื้อนจึงถูกปล่อยออกสู่สิ่งแวดล้อมมากขึ้น อำเภอบางพลี จังหวัดสมุทรปราการเป็นพื้นที่หนึ่งที่มีโรงงานอุตสาหกรรมที่มีการใช้โลหะหนักประเภทนี้อยู่ในเกณฑ์สูง ดังนั้นจึงน่าจะมีการปนเปื้อนโลหะหนักดังกล่าวมากับกากของเสียจากโรงงานอุตสาหกรรมลงสู่แหล่งน้ำได้ การวิจัยนี้มีนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์โลหะหนักตะกั่วและแคดเมียมในน้ำตัวอย่างจากลำคลองในทุกตำบลในเขตอำเภอบางพลี โดยเก็บตัวอย่างในระหว่างเดือนกุมภาพันธ์ ถึงเดือนสิงหาคม 2543 จำนวน 100 ตัวอย่าง จาก 25 ลำคลอง แล้ววิเคราะห์โดยวิธีอะตอมมิกแอพซอพชัน สเปกโตรโฟโตมิตรี (atomic absorption spectrophotometry) พบว่าโลหะตะกั่วในน้ำตัวอย่างมีความเข้มข้น 0.00000 - 0.0330 มิลลิกรัม/ลิตร มีค่าเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 0.0.0 ลิตร และโลหะแคดเมียมในน้ำตัวอย่างมีความเข้มขัมข้นอยู่ระหว่าง 0.000-0.0426 มิลลิกรัม/ลิตร มีค่าเฉลี่ย เท่ากับ 0.0033 มิลลิกรัม/ลิตร ทดสอบความแม่นยำโดยวิเคราะห์ซ้ำ 10 ครั้ง มีสัมประสิทธิ์ความแปแปรปรวนของการวิเคราะห์ตะกั่วและแคดเมียมร้อยละ 14.96 และ 5:06 และรีคอฟเวอรี (recovery) ของวิธีการวิเคราะห์ตะกั่วและแคดเมียมคิดเป็นร้อยละ 98.75 และ 99.40 ตามลำดับ จากผลการศึกษาวิเคราะห์แม้ว่าระดับความเข้มข้นของโลหะตะกั่วและแคดเมียมในน้ำตัวอย่างยังคงอยู่ต่ำกว่าเกณฑ์ที่กำหนด อย่างไรก็ตามในบางลำคลองที่มีความเข้มข้นของตะกั่วและหรือแคดเมียมสูง คือ มีค่ามากกว่า 00100 มิลลิกรัม/ลิตร สำหรับตะกั่ว และมากกว่า 0.0050 มิลลิกรัม/ลิตร สำหรับแคดเมียม น่าจะได้รับการเฝ้าระวังเพื่อป้องกันมิให้โลหะดังกล่าวขยับปริมาณสูงขึ้นจนถึงเกณฑ์หรือสูงกว่าเกณฑ์ที่กำหนด ซึ่งอาจก่อให้เกิดพิษกับมนุษย์และสิ่งแวดล้อมได้ทั้งทางตรงและทางอ้อม

Lead and cadmium are heavy metals that have been used in several kinds of Industries. At present, their waste products are increasingly released into the environment. Bangplee District in Samutprakarn province is an area that has a lot of industries which use great amounts of these heavy metals. Contamination by these heavy metals is likely. The purpose of this analyze the concentration of lead and cadmium in water sampled from canals of every Tumbon in Bangplee District. 100 samples were collected from 25 canals from February to August 2000. The analysis was performed by atomic absorption spectrophotometry. The concentration lead in waste samples is 000000- 00330 mg/ (mean = 0.00030 mg/l) and that of cadmium is 000000 - 0.0426 mol (mean = 00033 mg/1). The precision of analysis is shown in terms of 96 coefficient of variation which are 14:96 and 5:06, respectively. The recovery of these methods are 98.75 % (lead) and 99.40 % (cadmium). Although the results of this study show that the concentration of these heavy metals is still under the standard conscript, some canals that possessed a high concentration of lead and/or cadmium which are > 0.0100 mg/ lead) and > 0.0050 mg/l (cadmium) should be watched carefully in order to prevent the elevation of these heavy metal concentrations which may be toxic both directly and indirectly to humans and the environment
