การศึกษาความคิดเห็นของผู้บังคับบัญชาต่อคุณสมบัติของบัณฑิตคณะสังคมสงเคราะห์และสวัสดิการสังคม มหาวิทยาลัยหัวเฉียวเฉลิมพระเกียรติ รุ่นปีการศึกษา 2533-2537

Abstract

การศึกษาครั้งนี้เป็นการศึกษาความคิดเห็นของผู้บังคับบัญชาบัณฑิตคณะสังคมสงเคราะห์ศาสตร์และ สวัสดิการสังคม ระดับปฏิบัติงานใกล้ชิดกับบัณฑิตมากที่สุด จำนวนทั้งสิ้น 83 ราย คิดเป็นร้อยละ 74.10 ดังมีรายละเอียดต่อไปนี้ คุณลักษณะทั่วไปของผู้บังคับบัญชาบัณฑิต และสถานภาพของบัณฑิตในหน่วยงาน ผู้บังคับบัญชาบัณฑิตส่วนใหญ่เป็นชายอยู่ในช่วงอายุมากกว่า 56 ปีขึ้นไป การศึกษาชั้นสูงสุดระดับปริญญาตรี ปฏิบัติงานอยู่ในหน่วยงานภาครัฐบาลที่รับผิดชอบเกี่ยวกับงานสวัสดิการสังคมและสังคมสงเคราะห์ อาทิเช่น กรมประชาสงเคราะห์ กรมราชทัณฑ์ กระทรวงสาธารณสุขและกรุงเทพมหานคร บัณฑิตจากคณะสังคมสงเคราะห์ศาสตร์และสวัสดิการสังคม ปฏิบัติงานในแต่ละหน่วยงานไม่เกิน 5 คน ในตำแหน่งนักสังคมสงเคราะห์ ช่วยเหลือผู้ด้อย-โอกาสทุกประเภท บัณฑิตเข้าปฏิบัติงานอยู่ในช่วงระยะเวลา 3 - 4 ปี โดยเหตุผลที่รับบัณฑิตคือ มีวุฒิตามที่ต้องการ ความคิดเห็นของผู้บังคับบัญชาต่อคุณสมบัติของบัณฑิตคณะสังคมสงเคราะห์ศาสตร์และสวัสดิการสังคม มหาวิทยาลัยหัวเฉียวเฉลิมพระเกียรติ ผู้บังคับบัญชาบัณฑิตเห็นว่าคุณสมบัติของบัณฑิตทั้งด้านความรู้ ทักษะและทัศนคติที่มีต่อการปฏิบัติงานอยู่ในเกณฑ์เหมาะสมมาก โดยพิจารณาจาก = 150.48 และ SD = 18.69 อาทิเช่น ความรับผิดชอบ ความสามารถในการประสานงาน ความตั้งใจและสนใจในการปฏิบัติงาน ยึดถือกฎระเบียบและนโยบายของหน่วยงาน และมีมนุษยสัมพันธ์ดี ความคิดเห็นของผู้บังคับบัญชาบัณฑิตต่อทิศทางของหลักสูตรสังคมสงเคราะห์บัณฑิต ผู้บังคับบัญชาบัณฑิตเห็นว่าหลักสูตรสังคมสงเคราะห์ ควรมีการพัฒนาและปรับปรุง ในด้าน ความรู้ความเข้าใจและการตระหนักต่อจรรยาบรรณของนักสังคมสงเคราะห์ ความรู้และทักษะเกี่ยวกับมนุษยสัมพันธ์การติดต่อสื่อสาร การวิเคราะห์วิกฤตการณ์สถานการณ์ การเปลี่ยนแปลงด้านเศรษฐกิจ สังคม และการเมือง ซึ่งจะมีผลให้การศึกษาของคณะสังคมสงเคราะห์ศาสตร์และสวัสดิการสังคม มีทิศทางไปสู่การแก้ไขปัญหาสังคมในภาพรวม

This study is a descriptive research. Self-administered questionnaire is employed to 83 Supervisors who work closely with social work graduates. Findings from the study indicate as follows: Background Characteristics of the Supervisor and graduate’s status in a work place. Supervisors are predominately male, age over 56 and bachelor degree is their highest level of education. Most of them are found to be government officer who works at Department of Public Health and Department of Corrections. Not more than 5 graduates work in each organization. More than half of them works as social worker. Major duty of the graduate is a counselor who provides helps and services to disadvantage people. Length of work of graduates is around 3-4 years. Their appropriate degree putation is the main factor that helps graduate to get a job. Supervisor’s Attitude towards the Qualification of Social Work Graduate. Graduate’s qualifications in term of knowledge, skill and working attitudes are considered to be very appropriate (mean= 150.48, S.D. = 18.69) They are perceived to be coordinate, responsible, attentive, enthusiastic, regular and having good human relation. Supervisor’s attitudes towards Social Work Curriculum. Supervisor proposes that social work curriculum should be developed and improved in the way that can help providing student with knowledge and awareness of social work ethics, skills and knowledge of communication and human relation as well as the potential in analyzing and criticizing crisis situation deriving from economic and social changes. Moreover, social work and social welfare study program should be more holistic and integrated to reach the level of macro social work.
