การศึกษาอุปสรรคในการปฏิบัติงานด้านการบริบาลทางเภสัชกรรมสำหรับความผิดปกติโรคผิวหนังของเภสัชกรชุมชน

Abstract

งานวิจัยนี้เป็นการศึกษาเพื่อสำรวจปัญหาและอุปสรรคที่มีผลต่อการบริบาลทางเภสัชกรรมของเภสัชกร ชุมชนสำหรับผู้ป่วยโรคผิวหนัง โดยใช้แบบสอบถามออนไลน์ พบว่าตอบแบบสอบถามกลับ 302 คน เป็นเภสัชกร ชุมชนปฏิบัติหน้าที่เต็มเวลาร้อยละ 54.5 ปัญหาและอุปสรรคการบริบาลทางเภสัชกรรม ได้แก่ การเข้าใจลักษณะรอย โรคและอาการแสดงไม่ตรงกันระหว่างผู้ป่วยและเภสัชกร ไม่สามารถเข้าถึงลักษณะรอยโรค อาการแสดง และขาดการ ฝึกทักษะด้านการบริบาลทางเภสัชกรรม ร้อยละ 78.9, 55.3 และ 42.1 ตามล าดับ เพศและตำแหน่งหน้าที่ปฏิบัติงานในร้านยาต่อปัญหาและอุปสรรคเรื่องเภสัชกรขาดความมั่นใจมีความสัมพันธ์กันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p<0.05) การรับข้อมูลความรู้ใช้สื่ออินเตอร์เน็ต (88.4%) และต้องการกราฟิกเป็นสื่อช่วยมากที่สุด (60.9%) สรุป ปัญหาและ อุปสรรค คือการเข้าใจลักษณะรอยโรคและอาการแสดงที่ไม่ตรงกันของผู้ป่วยและเภสัชกร และสื่อช่วยที่ต้องการมาก ที่สุดเป็นสื่อกราฟิก

This research study aims to survey the problems and obstacles affecting pharmaceutical care services by community pharmacists for patients with common skin diseases. After an online questionnaire was designed and distributed, 302 responses returned which 54.5% of all respondents are full-time community pharmacists. The survey results showed that the major problems were misunderstanding of skin lesions and symptoms between a patient and a pharmacist (78.9%), inaccessibility of a pharmacist to identify the skin lesions (55.3%), and lack of training in pharmaceutical care skills (42.1%). Interestingly, gender of pharmacists, including job position in drug stores influenced the confidence of pharmacists in pharmaceutical care services with statistical significance (p < 0.05). Using internet was the most common way to access the knowledge of dermatologic practices (88.4%), and most pharmacists also required an infographic for their counselling (60.9%). In conclusion, patient-pharmacist miscommunication was the most common problem and obstacle affecting pharmaceutical care services by community pharmacists in Thailand. Whereas, using of skin disorder infographics suggested the most needed tool for pharmacists to enhance their pharmaceutical care services.
