The myth of Yu the Great's flood control is one of the more widely circulated ancient myths in China, known for its firm commitment to conquering nature. Faith and boldness inspire and educate generation after generation. However, what we see now is Emperor Yu's governance. Water myths are no longer what they used to be; they have been severely historicalized. Today, it is scattered. Among various ancient texts, the content is complex and even contradictory, leaving only remnants of China's primitive ancestors. In addition to certain factors processed by Jue's art, it clearly includes a series of rational elements for future generations. Historical behavioral manipulation, therefore, is actually a mixture of ideologies from various historical periods. |
