从《南风吹梦》看泰中文化的差异及融合

Abstract

.本文借用文化比较学理论，对小说《南风吹梦》中展现出来的泰中两国的风土人情进行分析，通过分析对两国的文化现象进行比较。每个国家都有自己独特的习俗和礼俗，但又不可避免地会产生学习、效仿或影响。这就是不同民族风土人情的交流与交融，也是不同国家之间文化交流的一个重要组成部分。本文的论述分为以下几个部分： 一、 描述《南风吹梦》的创作起源及主要内容。从作者的创作过程看，《南风吹梦》虽然是一部小说，但具有强烈的真实性。作品中描绘出的各种文化现象都实实在在地存在于现实社会之中。 二、重点分析作品中呈现出的泰中文化理念的差异冲突、互动与包容。泰国和中国都各自具有深厚的母体文化，但都不会，也不能拒绝外族文化。从主人公曾璇有的心理、心态及观念变化，我们分析了两国文化的差异与互动。 三、对小说展现出的风土人情，包括节庆习俗、社会生活习惯、人生礼俗等等做了归纳，并在此基础上比较了泰中两国风俗习惯的差异与相同相似之处。由此可以看出两个国家两个民族之间的文化理念随着国际交往的加速发展，交融与和谐将成为一种趋势。 四、本文将小说的主人公及其家庭作为切入点，剖析了旅泰华人的心路历程。泰国华人,特别是其中的华侨，虽然保留着祖籍国的文化，但自觉或不自觉地，主动或被动地接受了居住国的文化形式与理念。这正是华人在他国生存繁衍发展的根本所在。我们的结论是，民族文化的差异是存在的，然而民族文化的同化则是一个必然的发展趋势。

ในวิทยานิพนธ์นี้ศึกษาโดยใช้ทฤษฎีเปรียบเทียบทางด้านวัฒนธรรม โดยวิจัยประเพณีและวัฒนธรรมไทย – จีนที่ปรากฏในนวนิยายเรื่อง “จดหมายจากเมืองไทย” หลังวิจัยเปรียบเทียบวัฒนธรรมทั้งสองประเทศแล้วพบว่าแต่ละประเทศ แต่ละชนชาติล้วนมีวัฒนธรรมและพิธีกรรมที่โดดเด่นเป็นเอกลักษณ์ของตัวเองที่แตกต่างกัน และแต่ละวัฒนธรรมก็ต้องมีการเรียนรู้ การลอกเลียนแบบ หรือ การกระทบกระทั่งซึ่งกันและกัน จนทำให้วัฒนธรรมขนบธรรมเนียมของแต่ละชนชาติที่มาแลกเปลี่ยนและ หล่อหลอมเข้าด้วยกัน วิทยานิพนธ์ได้ศึกษาส่วนต่าง ๆ ดังต่อไปนี้ 1. เนื้อเรื่องและความเป็นมาของนิยายเรื่อง “จดหมายจากเมืองไทย” โดย โบตั๋น ได้ใช้ขั้นตอนในเขียน “จดหมายจากเมืองไทย” เป็นแบบนิยายเรื่องยาวที่เต็มไปด้วยการ บรรยายถึงวัฒนธรรมในแบบต่าง ๆ ที่เกิดขึ้นจริงในสังคมสมัยนั้น 2. ความรู้สึกทางด้านวัฒนธรรมของไทยกับจีนที่แตกต่างกัน ที่ขัดแย้งกัน ผสมผสานกัน และ การยอมรับซึ่งกันและกัน ประเทศไทยและประเทศอื่นๆ ต่างก็มีวัฒนธรรมที่ยาวนาน และลึกซึ้ง แต่ไม่ปฏิเสธในการรับวัฒนธรรมต่างชาติ ในวิทยานิพนธ์นี้ตัวเอกของเรื่อง เจิง เสวียน โหย่ ได้แสดงออกถึงความรู้สึกในใจ และ แสดงออกถึงปฏิกริยาที่หลากหลายอารมณ์ อันเป็นผลกระทบจากความคิดทางวัฒนธรรมและประเพณี 3. วัฒนธรรมและพิธีกรรมที่ปรากฏใน นิยายเรื่องนี้ได้กล่าวสรุปถึงประเพณีการเฉลิมฉลอง ความคุ้นเคย ในวิถีชีวิต และ พิธีกรรมต่าง ๆ ของมนุษย์ ซึ่งนำมาเปรียบเทียบถึงความแตกต่างกัน ความเหมือนกัน หรือความคล้ายคลึงกันของวัฒนธรรมไทยจีน โดยการเปรียบเทียบนี้จะมองเห็นแนวโน้มของการพัฒนาที่รวดเร็วและความปรองดองของทั้งสองชนชาติ4. วิทยานิพนธ์นี้วิจัยการดำรงชีวิต และ ความรู้สึกนึกคิดในจิตใจเจิง เสวียน โหย่ ชาวจีนโพ้นทะเลและครอบครัวของเขาชาวจีนที่มาอยู่ในเมืองไทยโดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งชาวจีนโพ้นทะเลในไทย จะยังคงรักษาวัฒนธรรมดั่งเดิมของตนเองในขณะเดียวกันก็ได้ซึมซับ และกลมกลืนกับวัฒนธรรมใหม่ เจ้าตัวจะรู้สึกตัว จะยินยอม หรือ ไม่ยินยอมก็ตาม ทั้งหมดนี้คือปัจจัยที่ทำให้คนจีนโพ้นทะเลสามารถพัฒนาและดำรงชีพอยู่ได้ในต่างแดน บทสรุปของพวกเราคือ ความแตกต่างของวัฒนธรรม ความแตกต่างของเผ่าพันธุ์นั้นยังคงมีอยู่แต่ความแตกต่างของเชื้อชาติจะมีการกลืนเข้าหากันได้นั้นคือแนวโน้มที่จะมีการเกิดขึ้นอย่างแน่นอน

This thesis was compiled on the basis of comparing cultural issues between Thai and Chinese which connoted in the Thai famous novel named “Letters from Thailand”. After went through the in-depth researching process, it has been found that every single country has its own unique way of living which later on become the origin of a distinguished tradition of that so-called society. Imitations as well as cultural conflicts can take place when each tradition gathered around intended to interchange their cultures with others. However, at the end of the road, this process can surprisingly melts all different cultures together. The thesis composes of the many interesting topics that have meticulously been interpreted from these following sources:1.)The story and background of “Letters from Thailand”, a classic Thai novel written by “Botun”. She wrote it in a manner of long descriptive story which apparently described many forms of cultures that actually existed in the society at that time.2.)The strong differences between Thai and Chinese culture that later can became one because of a natural adaptation of human which is one of the human basic skills for living in energetic changing circumstances. Every country has some senses of durable and unique culture; nevertheless, it cannot object others that uncontrollably flown into its country. In this novel, Tan Suan Au had shown many of his inner feelings through his action which is a result of his inborn culture that overwhelms his thoughts. 3.) Many traditions and rituals that presented in this novel for example the celebration, way of living and prominent cultural rituals can tell what are the different between Thai and Chinese culture. Moreover the cultural trend and the concord of the two countries can be seen from the story also.4) This thesis analyzed Tan Suan Au’s lifestyle and his way of thinking. He was a Chinese man who came to live his life in Thailand. Most Chinese who were in Thailand usually stood still for their initial cultures. But at the same time they would absorb the tradition of Thais and made themselves perfectly blended with local people no matter with or without their consent. All of these facts of adaptation made Chinese could live happily in different parts of the world. To conclude, the differences among each unique culture cannot be avoided ascertain as that the accord of race or simply called the cultural blend must be faced.
