ภาพสะท้อนสังคมและวัฒนธรรมในนิทานสร้างโลกของชนเผ่าเย้า

Abstract

การศึกษาภาพสะท้อนสังคมและวัฒนธรรมในนิทานสร้างโลกของชนเผ่าเย้า มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาวิเคราะห์ประเภทเนื้อหาของนิทานและวิเคราะห์ภาพสะท้อนสังคมและวัฒนธรรมที่ปรากฏในนิทานสร้างโลกของ ชนเผ่าเย้า โดยมีขอบเขตของการวิจัย คือ 1) หนังสือมี่ลั่วถัวของชนเผ่าเย้า (布努瑶创世史诗密洛陀) (พ.ศ. 2542) 2) สรรพนิพนธ์นิทานพื้นบ้านชนเผ่าเย้า (瑶族民间故事集) (พ.ศ. 2543) 3) สรรพนิพนธ์นิทานพื้นบ้านชนเผ่าเย้า (瑶族民间故事集) (พ.ศ. 2550) และ 4) หนังสือรวมนิทานพื้นบ้านจีนฉบับกวางสี (中国民间故事全集.广西卷) (พ.ศ. 2556) รวมนิทานทั้งหมด 86 เรื่องผลการศึกษาพบว่า นิทานสร้างโลกของชนเผ่าเย้า สามารถแบ่งตามลักษณะเนื้อหาได้เป็น 6 ประเภท ได้แก่ 1) การกำเนิดเทพเจ้า มีเนื้อหากล่าวถึงบุคคลธรรมดาที่ทำความดี จึงถูกยกย่องเป็นเทพเจ้า 2) การกำเนิดสภาพแวดล้อม ชาวเย้ามีความเชื่อว่าเทพเจ้าเป็นผู้สร้างสภาพแวดล้อม 3) การกำเนิดมนุษย์ ชาวเย้าเชื่อว่าน้ำเต้ามีบทบาทสำคัญต่อการกำเนิดมนุษย์ 4) การกำเนิดสัตว์โลก มีเนื้อหากล่าวถึงความเป็นมาของสัตว์ป่าและสัตว์เลี้ยง 5) การกำเนิดสรรพสิ่ง สิ่งต่าง ๆ ที่เกิดขึ้น เกิดจากการลองผิดลองถูกของชาวเย้า 6) การกำเนิดประเพณี ประเพณีของชาวเย้าเกิดขึ้นจากความต้องการที่จะแสดงความอาลัยและระลึกถึงผู้ที่จากไป ด้านภาพสะท้อนสังคมและวัฒนธรรมที่ปรากฏในนิทานสร้างโลกของชนเผ่าเย้า มี 4 ด้าน ได้แก่ 1) ด้านชีวิตความเป็นอยู่ ชาวเย้าส่วนใหญ่อาศัยอยู่ในแหล่งธรรมชาติ จึงนำสิ่งต่าง ๆ ที่อยู่รอบตัวมาสร้างบ้านและทำเครื่องแต่งกาย เรียนรู้วิธีการล่าสัตว์ เก็บอาหารในป่า ชาวเย้าเดินทางด้วยเท้าและพายเรือข้ามแม่น้ำ 2) ด้านค่านิยม ชนเผ่าเย้าเป็นกลุ่มที่มีค่านิยมเกี่ยวกับความขยัน ความกล้าหาญ การเชื่อฟังผู้ใหญ่ ความกตัญญูและการใช้สติปัญญา 3) ด้านความเชื่อ ชนเผ่าเย้ามีความเชื่อเรื่องเทพเจ้า ความเชื่อเรื่องผู้ประกอบพิธี ความเชื่อเรื่องฤกษ์ยาม และความเชื่อเรื่องผี 4) ด้านประเพณี ประกอบด้วยประเพณีต๋าหนู่ ประเพณีการแต่งงาน ประเพณีผานหวาง และประเพณีเกี่ยวกับงานศพ จากภาพสะท้อนสังคมที่ปรากฏในนิทานสร้างโลกของ ชนเผ่าเย้าทำให้คนรุ่นหลังได้รู้จักวิถีชีวิต ความเชื่อ และประเพณีของชนเผ่าเย้าที่มีเอกลักษณ์

This research aimed to analyze the world creation myths of the Yao tribe, focusing on structure and social and cultural reflections presented in the myths. Scope of the study was eighty-six myths from four books, including 1) Mi Luo Tuo of the Yao tribe (1999); 2) Anthology of Yao Tribe Folktales by Fang Xue Yao (2000); 3) Anthology of Yao Tribe Folktales by Su Sheng Xing (2007); and 4) Chinese Folktales, Guang Xi edition (2013).Regarding the structure, six themes were observed including 1) origin of gods, relating ordinary persons making merits and honored to be gods; 2) origin of the environment, creating by gods as the Yao beliefs; 3) origin of humans, showing the important role of calabashes; 4) origin of animals, describing the creation of wild animals and farm animals; 5) origin of everything, existing by trial and error of the Yao; and 6) origin of traditions, aiming to express griefs and remembrance for the dead. For social and cultural reflections, four aspects were noted including 1) ways of living, mainly depending on the nature that provided dwelling and clothing to the Yao who was a huntsman fed by the forest and travelled by foot or boats; 2) social values, praising diligence; bravery; obedience; gratitude; and wisdom; 3) beliefs, relating to gods; ritual leaders; auspicious time; and ghosts; and 4) culture, including Da Nu festival; Pan Wang festival; wedding and funeral traditions. These finding reflections in the world creation myths of the Yao tribe shed light to later generations and made them recognizing the unique traditions of the Yao.
