ความเชื่อ พิธีกรรมและบทบาทของศาลเจ้าจีนไต้หวัน : กรณีศึกษาศาลเจ้ามูลนิธิธรรมกตัญญู (เสียนหลอไต้เทียนกง) จังหวัดสมุทรปราการ

Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความเชื่อและพิธีกรรมที่อยู่ในศาลเจ้ามูลนิธิธรรมกตัญญู (เสียนหลอไต้เทียนกง) จังหวัดสมุทรปราการ เพื่อวิเคราะห์บทบาทของศาลเจ้ามูลนิธิธรรมกตัญญู (เสียนหลอไต้เทียนกง) ที่มีต่อคนไทยเชื้อสายจีนไต้หวันในสังคมไทย เป็นงานวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพที่ศึกษาข้อมูลจากเอกสาร การสังเกตการณ์ และเก็บข้อมูลภาคสนามด้วยการสัมภาษณ์แบบเจาะลึกจากผู้ที่เกี่ยวข้องจำนวน 30 คน แล้วนำข้อมูลมาศึกษาวิเคราะห์ และนำเสนอผลการวิจัยแบบพรรณนาวิเคราะห์ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ศาลเจ้ามูลนิธิธรรมกตัญญู (เสียนหลอไต้เทียนกง) มีประวัติศาสตร์ที่ยาวนานและเป็นศาลเจ้าที่มีความศักดิ์สิทธิ์ โดยมาจากศาลเจ้าหนานคุณเซินไต้เทียนฟู่ที่ไต้หวัน ซึ่งการสร้างศาลเจ้าแห่งนี้ในจังหวัดสมุทรปราการนั้น มีเหตุมาจากความเชื่อและความศรัทธาที่มีต่อเทพเจ้า อู๋ฟู่เชียนส้วยที่ชาวจีนไต้หวันต่างให้ความเคารพนับถือ และศาลเจ้าแห่งนี้ได้สะท้อนให้เห็นถึงวัฒนธรรมจีนไต้หวันอย่างชัดเจนมี 8 ประการ ได้แก่ ความเชื่อเรื่องสุขภาพ ความมั่นคงของชีวิต ดวงชะตาความเมตตา การค้าขาย การขอโชคลาภเงินทอง การขอบุตร และการงาน จากความเชื่อดังกล่าว จึงมีพิธีกรรมที่สำคัญจำนวน 5 พิธีกรรม คือ 1) การแก้ปีชง 2) วันตรุษจีน 3) วันเทศกาลหยวนเซียว 4) งานวันเกิดของเทพเจ้า 5) งานเทกระจาดประจำปี ที่สะท้อนให้เห็นถึงบทบาทของ ศาลเจ้า คือ บทบาททางด้านจิตใจ การทำให้จิตใจสงบสุขและช่วยเป็นกำลังใจในการดำรงชีวิตต่อไปได้ บทบาททางด้านสังคม เป็นศูนย์รวมใจสร้างความสามัคคีที่มีการปลูกฝังให้เป็นคนดีมีคุณธรรม จริยธรรม และการช่วยเหลือสังคม บทบาทด้านวัฒนธรรม ที่มีการสืบทอดและเผยแพร่วัฒนธรรมความเชื่อของชาวจีนไต้หวัน และยังมีการผสมผสานระหว่างวัฒนธรรมไทยและวัฒนธรรมจีนไต้หวันได้เป็นอย่างดี บทบาทด้านเศรษฐกิจ ศาลเจ้าถือเป็นการส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวเชิงวัฒนธรรมในพื้นที่จังหวัดสมุทรปราการ และยังช่วยสร้างรายได้ให้กับชาวบ้านบริเวณใกล้เคียงและศาลเจ้าได้อย่างดี ซึ่งผู้วิจัยถือว่าการมีอยู่ของศาลเจ้าเป็นการแสดงให้เห็นถึงความเชื่อที่เข้มแข็งของชาวจีนไต้หวันและยังคงมีการสืบทอดความเชื่อและพิธีกรรมเหล่านี้ให้คงอยู่ต่อไปได้ในปัจจุบัน

This research aimed to study the beliefs and rituals in the Thammakatanyu Foundation Shrine (Xian Loo Tai Thiankong), Samutprakan Province. To analyze the role of the Thammakatanyu Foundation shrine (Xian Loo tai Thiankong) towards Thai people of Chinese-Taiwanese descent in Thai society. It is a qualitative research that studied data from documents, observation and the field data was collected by in-depth interviews from 30 people involved. The data was analyzed and present the research results in a descriptive and analytical form. The research results showed that the Thammakatanyu Foundation Shrine (Xian Loo Tai Thiankong). It had a long history and is a sacred shrine. By bringing the construction method from Nan Khun Shen Dai Tianfu Shrine in Taiwan. Which the construction of this shrine in Samut Prakan Province. It was caused by the belief and faith of the Chinese Taiwanese god Wu Fu Qian Su. This shrine still had 8 beliefs that reflect Chinese Taiwanese culture: health beliefs, stability of life, destiny, mercy, trading, asking for fortune, money, begging for children and work. Based on such beliefs, there are 5 important rituals which were: 1) Extraction in bad luck year 2) Chinese New Year 3) Yuanxiao Festival 4) God's Birthday 5) Distribution of gifts to the poor Festival. It reflected the role of the shrine, namely, its role in mental health, peace of mind and encouragement to continue living. Social role, It was the center of unity that is cultivated to be a good person with morals, ethics, and contributions to society. Cultural role with the inheritance and dissemination of the beliefs of the Chinese Taiwanese. And there was also a good mix of Thai culture and Chinese Taiwanese culture. Economic role Shrines are considered to promote cultural tourism in Samut Prakan Province. It also helped generate income for nearby villagers and shrines as well. The researchers regarded the existence of the shrine as a demonstration of the strong beliefs of the Taiwanese Chinese and that these beliefs and rituals are still being inherited today.
