ภาวะหมดไฟของบุคลากรที่ปฏิบัติงานในห้องปฏิบัติการเทคนิคการแพทย์

Abstract

การศึกษานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อสำรวจอุบัติการณ์และปัจจัยที่สัมพันธ์กับภาวะหมดไฟของกลุ่มบุคลากรที่ปฏิบัติงานในห้องปฏิบัติการเทคนิคการแพทย์ทั้งโรงพยาบาลรัฐและเอกชนจำนวน 156 ราย การสำรวจเป็นแบบ cross-sectional online survey เก็บข้อมูลจากกลุ่มตัวอย่างโดยใช้แบบสอบถามออนไลน์ในรูป Google Form คำถามที่ใช้ในการรวบรวมข้อมูลประกอบไปด้วย 2 ส่วน ส่วนที่ 1 เป็นคำถามทั่วไปด้านประชากรศาสตร์ ส่วนที่ 2 เป็นคำถามเกี่ยวกับปัจจัยที่เกี่ยวข้องกับภาวะหมดไฟ ได้แก่ ปัจจัยส่วนบุคคล (personal burnout) และปัจจัยทางด้านงาน (work-related burnout) ใช้โปรแกรม Microsoft Excel และ IBM-SPSS Statistics version 21 เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลและวิเคราะห์ผล โดยกำหนดค่าคะแนน cut-off ที่บ่งชี้ภาวะหมดไฟคือ > 50% ผลการศึกษาพบ personal burnout จำนวน 111 ราย (71.2%) และพบ work-related burnout จำนวน 100 ราย (64.1%) พบอุบัติการณ์ของ personal burnout ได้น้อยกว่าในผู้ที่มีอายุ 51-60 ปี และอายุที่เพิ่มมากขึ้นเป็นปัจจัยที่ช่วยลดการเกิดภาวะหมดไฟ พบอุบัติการณ์ของ work-related burnout สูงในผู้ที่มีรายรับในช่วง 30,000-50,000 บาท/เดือน และยังพบว่าผู้ที่ปฏิบัติงานในโรงพยาบาลรัฐขนาดจำนวนเตียง 500-800 เตียง มี work-related burnout สูงกว่า โรงพยาบาลขนาดเล็ก 11 เท่า (p-value < 0.05, OR=11)

The aim of this study was to investigate the prevalence and identify the factors associated with burnout among 156 voluntary participants, working in the medical technology laboratory of public and private hospitals. The cross-sectional survey using an online questionnaire platform via Google Forms was performed which consisted of two parts: the demographic questions and the questions which burnout was assessed in personal and work-related domains. Microsoft Excel and IBM-SPSS Statics version 21 was used to collect and analyze the data. The cutoff score indicating burnout was defined as >50% in each domain. According to the findings of this study, 111 personal (71.2%) were experienced burnout as a result of personal reasons while 100 (64.1%) had work-related burnout. Participants around 51 to 60 years old had lower personal burnout, and the increasing age had impact on the burnout in the protective way. Moreover, the prevalence of work-related burnout was significantly higher among those who had received revenue of 30,000-50,000 bath/month and those who had worked in 500-800 beds public hospitals seem to experience work-related burnout 11 times compared to staff in a small hospital (p-value < 0.05, OR=11).
