农曆八月三十日至九月九日是泰國著名的「九皇齋節」。這一節慶有著非常獨特的民俗儀式，
很多是中國所沒有的，但「九皇齋節」依然源自中國「北斗九皇」信仰，「九皇素」
「九皇會」都是中國固有的道教齋戒和節日習俗。泰國的「九皇勝會」誦持的經典中有一部佛
道二藏皆未收錄的《北斗消災延壽妙經》，這部經典表現出了泰國「九皇勝會」濃厚的佛道教
融合的色彩，泰國「九皇齋節」民俗由於濃厚的佛教文化氛圍和清末移民文化記憶與民間傳說
而發生演化和變異，形成了獨具一格的十日慶典。
August 30th to September 9th of the Chinese old calendar, this ten days are the famous festival "Nine Emperor's Fast days" in Thailand. Although this festival has very unique folk-custom and rituals, some of this rituals have already not be found in China, this festival originated from Chinese Big Dipper belief. "Nine Emperor's Fast days" is Chinese indigenous Daoism abstaining from meat and festival custom and rituals. "Nine Emperor's Fast days" in Thailand is different from in China, it had more Buddhism color, the festival custom and rituals of "Nine Emperor's Fast days" have some changes, because the Buddhism atmosphere of Thailand and immigrants' cultural memory and Folklore of late Ming and early Qing dynasty. All of these took shape the distinct ten days rituals process of Nine Emperor's Fast days".
