ผลของการจัดการเรียนการสอนโดยใช้กรณีศึกษาต่อการพัฒนาการใช้กระบวนการพยาบาลในคลินิกของนักศึกษาพยาบาล

Abstract

งานวิจัยกึ่งทดลอง (Quasi – experimental research design) นี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการใช้กระบวนการพยาบาลในคลินิกของนักศึกษาพยาบาลก่อนและหลังการจัดการเรียนการสอนโดยใช้กรณีศึกษา และศึกษาความพึงพอใจของนักศึกษาพยาบาลต่อวิธีการจัดการเรียนการสอนกระบวนการพยาบาลในคลินิกโดยใช้กรณีศึกษา กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นนักศึกษา ชั้นปีที่ 3 คณะพยาบาลศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยหัวเฉียวเฉลิมพระเกียรติ จำนวน 16 คน เครื่องมือในการวิจัยประกอบด้วยกรณีศึกษา แผนการสอน แบบประเมินภาวะสุขภาพและแผนการพยาบาล แบบตรวจสอบความสามารถการใช้กระบวนการพยาบาล และแบบสอบถาม วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยหาค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และวิเคราะห์ความแตกต่างของค่าเฉลี่ยด้วยวิธี Wilcoxon Sign Ranks Test และ Friedman Test ผลการวิจัยพบว่าคะแนนเฉลี่ยความสามารถในการใช้กระบวนการพยาบาลในคลินิกของนักศึกษาที่ประเมินโดยนักศึกษา และอาจารย์หลังการจัดการเรียนการสอนโดยใช้กรณีศึกษาสูงกว่าก่อนเรียนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .001 และนักศึกษามีความพึงพอใจต่อการจัดการเรียนการสอนโดยใช้กรณีศึกษาในระดับมาก ทั้งนี้สิ่งที่นักศึกษาพึงพอใจมากที่สุด 3 อันดับแรกคือ การมีโอกาสแสดงความคิดเห็นในขณะเรียนได้อย่างเต็มที่ การได้ฝึกคิดอย่างมีเหตุผล และการมีบรรยากาศในการเรียนที่ไม่ทำให้ผู้เรียนเกิดความรู้สึกอึดอัดที่จะปฏิสัมพันธ์กับอาจารย์ ผลจากงานวิจัยมีข้อเสนอแนะว่าควรมีการเตรียมความรู้พื้นฐานที่เกี่ยวข้องก่อนการฝึกปฏิบัติในคลินิกเพื่อนักศึกษาจะได้มีความสามารถวิเคราะห์ปัญหาผู้รับบริการและวางแผนการพยาบาลได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพตลอดจนควรสนับสนุนให้มีการพัฒนารูปแบบการจัดการเรียนการสอนโดยใช้กรณีศึกษาอย่างต่อเนื่อง

The purposes of the quasi–experimental research were to compare the ability of nursing students in applying nursing process in clinical practice before and after clinical teaching by using case studies and to evaluate the nursing students’ satisfactions to the clinical teaching by case study on nursing process. The experimental group were 16 third year nursing students of faculty of nursing, Huachiew Chalermprakiet University. The research tools consisted of case studies, clinical teaching plan, health assessment and nursing care plan form, nursing process application ability evaluation tool and questionnaires. The data were analyzed by using percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, Wilcoxon Sign Ranks Test and Friedman Test. The results of the study showed that the mean scores of nursing process application ability of nursing students after clinical teaching by using case studies both evaluated by the nursing students and instructors were higher than before teaching with statistically significant difference (P<.001). In addition, the students were satisfied to clinical teaching by case studies at a high level. The most three satisfactions were the chance to show their opinions, the critical thinking practice and feeling relaxed while having interaction with the instructors. The findings suggest that nursing students need related fundamental knowledges prior to clinical practice, so that they would be able to analyze clients’ problems and able to make effective nursing care plan. The findings also support that the use of case studies should be continuing developed in clinical teaching.
